The Asian Pan-Pacific Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (APPSPGHAN) is a non-profit organization with a mission to promote the knowledge of pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition, to stimulate research in this field and disseminate relevant knowledge at the meetings and elsewhere. The Society was founded in 1988 and currently, there are members from countries across Asia and Australia. The first APPSPGHAN meeting was initiated in 1988 in Brisbane, Australia  and so far the members of the APPSPGHAN have organized 13 successful meetings in various countries.
