Conference Venue

The main program will be held at the Grand Ballroom, 23 rd Floor, Bangkok Convention Centre, Centara Hotel at CentralWorld. The Centara Grand at CentralWorld Hotel is one of Asia Pacific's largest hotels, with over 500 rooms and suites, all fully equipped with modern amenities to ensure the most comfortable stay. The hotel is located within Bangkok's central business district, connected to CentralWorld, Asia Pacific's largest lifestyle living mall with over 500 stores and 50 restaurants.


How to get from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) to Centara Grand at CentralWorld

Taxi
Suvarnabhumi airport terminal is approximately 30 kilometers (19 miles) east, 1 hour to the conference venue, depending on traffic and time of day. Public taxi stands are located on level 1 (one level down from the arrivals level). The taxi fare is charged by the meter plus a 50 baht airport surcharge. If you select a metered taxi the driver may ask you to provide the toll fees enroute.
Sky Train
Airport Rail Link The train services between Suvarnabhumi Airport and Bangkok City from 06.00 a.m.-12.00 p.m. The city line makes six stops between downtown (Phayathai Station) and the airport, completing each run in 30 minutes. The fare calculated from the distance, starting from 15 baht and up to 45 baht. The Airport Rail Link connects you to the BTS Sky train at Phayathai Station. Then, take the BTS Sky train at Phayathai Station. Then, take the BTS Skytrain to Chit Lom Station and take a walk for 5-10 minutes to conference venue.

From Bangkok International Airport (Suvarnabhumi), the entrance to the Airport Rail Link service is on the first floor.


How to get from Don Mueng Airport (DMK) to Centara Grand at CentralWorld


Today Don Mueang Airport is Bangkok’s secondary international airport, handling both domestic and international. This airport is located in the north of center Bangkok. It is located at about the same distance from the city center as the main Suvarnabhumi Airport (Suvarnabhumi is at the east of Bangkok). There is NO an airport-train (nor Metro or Sky train) to Don Muang Airport, like there is for the main international airport Suvarnabhumi (A Sky train line is being built at these moments).

Taxi
About 500 baht from the airport to town, 1 hour to the conference venue, depending on traffic and time of day. The taxi fare is charged by the meter plus a 50 baht airport surcharge.
Airport Bus
There is a high frequency bus A1, which goes to the nearest BTS Sky train Mochit station (also a Metro-MRT station called Chatuchak). Then, take the BTS Sky train to Chit Lom Station and take a walk for 5-10 minutes to Conference Venue.
Private Bus Company
There is a private bus company called Airport Limo Bus Express. The flat-rate fare is 150 baht. It’s only one price for every trip back and forth. The bus is ready to go at gate no. 6-8, terminal1 and gate no.14, terminal 2. They have a direct bus every hour to the Silom road connects you to the BTS Sky train at Saladaeng Station.

Endoscopy venue

Olympus T-TEC (Thai-Training & Education Centre) is the 4th training centre established by Olympus in Asia Pacific outside Japan with the rest; 3 centers in China; Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou, and the latest one in South Korea that will be operated in October 2017. T-TEC has been operated since May 2016. The center is conveniently situated in Gemopolis Industrial Estate, Bangna – just 15 minutes from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport that is easily linked to the city centre.


T-TEC occupies 3 floors and a total space of 4,900 m2 complete with;

  • - Training rooms
  • - 92-seat auditorium equipped with 4K and HD 3D projector and audio systems
  • - Dry lab for up to 10 stations
  • - Wet lab with 9 stations equipped with HD 3D, 4K, Endo-Lap imaging,
    Thunderbeat and Laparoscopic, EndoUrology, ENT and Gastroenterology scopes and instruments.

T-TEC is well equipped for gastroenterology, laparoscopic and other minimally invasive surgical training.
